Bonnie M. Carter

Bonnie M. Carter, 85, of Fairmount, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Gardenview Manor in Danville.

Bonnie was born March 12, 1929, in Jamaica Township to Fred H. and Myrtie Turner Brooks McNees.

She married Jack L. Carter on Feb. 26, 1948. Jack passed away on April 22, 1983.

Survivors include one son, Larry Carter of Fairmount; one daughter, Marilyn (Dan) Moore of Chrisman; and one grandson, Adam Lee Carter. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Bonnie was a farm wife and helped Jack with farm work. She was a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Fairmount Women’s Club. She enjoyed cooking, birds and flowers.

Funeral services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, JUly 15, at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Burial at Jones Grove Cemetery in Catlin. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Robison Chapel.
