Gerald and Peggy Baldwin of Bismarck celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a nine-day trip to Branson, Mo. They saw several shows, including the Baldknobbers and the Dixie Stampede, and rode the local train (a two-hour ride).
Gerald Baldwin and Peggy Barritt were married April 2, 1953, at the Christian Church in Oakwood by James Cornett.
Gerald is retired from General Motors and Peggy is a retired sales clerk.
The couple has three children, Jerry (Jean) Baldwin of Delaware, Carolyn (Phil) Cornell of Bismarck and Steven (Joan) Baldwin of O’Fallon.
They also have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
