— Harold and Candace Brown of Danville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration in July with their children and grandchildren. The event will be hosted by their daughters and granddaughters.
Harold Brown and Candace Hughes were married April 3, 1964, in Georgetown by the Rev. William Johnson.
Harold is a retired certified welder and Candy is a retired licensed day-care provider.
The couple’s children are Kimberly (Bradley) Phillips, Shawnita (Jason) Biava, both of Danville, and the late Tina Bott.
Their grandchildren are, Kandi, Brandon, Kylee, Bobbie Jo, Chelsie, Brycie, Lacie, Dakottah and Kallie and an adopted grandson, Kaleb Brown. They also have 10 great-grandchildren and three on the way.
The Browns are planning a trip to Oklahoma and Arizona to celebrate their anniversary.
