— Robert and Dorothy Watson of Alvin celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary with a family-and-friends get-together on Oct. 17, 2013, at the Beef House Restaurant. The event was hosted by their daughter, Tracey Watson, and her fiance, Mike Danner.
Robert Watson and Dorothy Stacks were married Oct. 17, 1954, at Central Christian Church in Danville.
Robert retired as chief clerk to the train master for the L&N Railroad. Dorothy was a deputy clerk for the U.S. federal courts office and at one time was a U.S. commissioner before retiring.
They have a daughter, Tracey Watson (fiance, Mike Danner).
The couple is welcomed home by Curley, Moe and Sally.
