— Darrell and Bernetta Rolinitis of Westville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a lunch with family and friends.

Darrell Rolinitis and Bernetta Pintar were married Aug. 31, 1963, at St. Mary’s Church in Westville with the Rev. David Roach officiating.

Darrell retired from working with and training on Hyster lift-trucks for 41 years. He served in U.S. Army for three years (1966-1969) with one year in Vietnam (1966-1967) and was discharged from White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Bernetta owned and operated a beauty shop for more than 50 years.

The couple has three sons, D.L. (Stacey Sexton) of Danville, Mike (Missie Hooks) of Mokena and Steve (Laurie Barnes) of Morton.

They have seven grandchildren, Mikayla, Mariah, Dalton (D.L.); Arwen (Mike); Bryce, Tyler and Kylie (Steve).
