— Richard and Diana Jumps of Perrysville, Ind., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3-5 p.m. EDT Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Rick’s home in Newport, Ind. The event is hosted by the Jumps family.
Richard Jumps and Diana Hancock were married June 14, 1963, in Danville.
Richard worked at Olin/Flexel for 35 years. He retired from Danville Metal Stamping after 11 years of employment.
Diana retired from North Vermillion High School after 30 years in food service.
The couple has two children, Rick Jumps of Newport and Randy (Casey) Jumps of Covington, Ind.
They have nine grandchildren, Zeb (Cara), Hali (Reuben Dark), Zach, Zeth, Hadi, Tess, Tanner, Hunter and Avery. They also have four great-grandchildren, Ava, Hazel, Ruby and Hailyn.
